Frequently asked questions

General
Who is Mello The Proto Puppy?
Mello The Proto Puppy is a furry content creator who makes skits, gaming videos and livestreams, and who co-founded the Mello Zone community. The streams run on Twitch every night from 8pm to midnight Eastern, covering gaming, VRChat world-hopping and late-night conversation.
That’s me. Most of it comes back to the same thing: having fun, making people smile, and keeping a positive place for people to be themselves.
How do I know an account is really Mello?
Check it against the links page on this site. That page lists every account Mello runs, and it is the list the structured data on every page here points at. If an account is not on it, it is not Mello — please report it.
Anyone can copy an avatar and a bio, so start from the links page and click out from there instead of searching the platform.
Two that catch people out: TikTok is @marshmellofoxyyyt, with three y’s,
and Instagram is @themarshmellofoxyyt, with a “the” on the front. Both
are real. Both have lookalikes without those quirks.
Mello says "emotional support puppy" — what does that mean?
It means Mello will listen if you need an ear, and wants nothing back for it. It does not mean Mello is a doctor, a therapist or a crisis service, and it is not a substitute for talking to someone qualified.
If something feels heavy, please talk to a professional, or to someone you trust who knows your situation. I can listen, but I am not trained for that, and I would rather say so than let you think otherwise.
If you are in crisis right now, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country rather than waiting for a stream.
Streams
When is Mello live?
Every night, 8pm to midnight Eastern, on Twitch at twitch.tv/marshmellofoxyyt. It is the same slot every night.
The schedule page shows those times in your own timezone.
Twitch is where the live content is. YouTube gets the skits and the highlights, TikTok gets the short clips.
Mello Zone
What is Mello Zone?
Mello Zone is an 18+ furry community built around connection, creativity and having somewhere you feel welcome. It was co-founded in January 2026 by Mello The Proto Puppy and Sammy The Femboy Puppy, and runs on Discord, VRChat and Telegram.
The community has its own site at mellozone.site, which carries the news posts, the staff directory and the current joining details.
Sammy and I both moderate it, and we each keep our own creator site separate from it — this one, and Sammy’s.
Mello Zone is 18+ but the content is SFW. Which is it?
Both. You have to be eighteen or over to join, and anything you post has to stay work-safe. They are two separate rules.
People tend to read “18+” as a promise about the content, so it is worth saying plainly: it is about who can join, not about what gets posted.
Who is the community for?
Furries, pups, LGBTQ+ folks, regressors, non-conforming people, gamers, and anyone curious who wants a positive place to hang out. You do not need a fursuit, a fursona or any prior involvement in the fandom.
“Curious” counts. Plenty of people turn up having watched from the outside for a while without a way in. That is a normal way to start.
